So, the long weekend is fast approaching and the much anticipated Art Walk will be here tomorrow. For those who are not familiar with Decatur’s Art Walk, it is a festival highlighting the different Arts located in the city. Not only gallery Art, but dance, music and everything in between. It’s loads of fun and its free. You need to come out and participate. We have our Artist Team layouts displayed, along with Renee Pearson’s Art from several published magazines. Come in a see this great art and walk to other galleries and venues for more fun.

Good Morning. Today is our last Monday $1.00 sale for the month. So today we will feature Autumn Leaves mini stamps. We realized that ya’ll loved those $1.00 stamps that Michaels carried but we wanted to kick it up a notch. So Rhonna Ferrar stamps are it. We have 8 different styles with the blocks to go with them. They won’t be here for long so come on in and get your $1.00 fix! We still have stickers and buttons.

Well, Renee Pearson found out that she had a prior engagement that she committed to so we will have to change the date. She is still coming though, don’t even think not! The date is the 16th of June during our Summer Blockbuster event. This is going to be awesome. We can now have a red carpet because we will have a “real celebrity” at our event. So make sure that you come in for this great preimere. It is going to be so much fun. People lining the red carpet, winning prizes and doing great make and takes all in the same day. I can’t wait. It is definitely going to be a scrappers moment. Get your camaras ready girls! SCRAP CHIC IS GOING TO THE MOVIES!!!! See ya there!

Ok guys, things are floating in for our big “Summer Blockbuster” event. I am so excited. It isn’t till June but I can’t wait to give you the details. It will focus on all the summer blockbusters and vacations. So you know what that means. TRAVEL PAPER!!!!clap, clap But not only that we will have paper representing all the summer blockbusters but papers to help capture all the memories of your summer vacations. Spidey kits and paper to keep those webslinging memories on, pirate paper to celebrate Cap’n Jacks return and Marvel Fantastic Four embellishments will all be here ready for their debut spot in your album. I’m trying to locate Shrek paper, not to easy though. Oh, we also have the Hambly ship. It will make a great layout with the pirate paper. Disney, Disney, Disney and more Disney. Papers and embellishments you won’t see at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Walmart or even Archivers. We have beach paper and a new line of cruise paper. So make sure that you mark June 16th on your calendar. There will be food, make and takes and lots of fun. For those who came to the Artist Debut you know what I mean about food and fun.

Now back to this month. Don’t forget the Renee Pearson will be at the store signing her book on Friday, May 25th. This is your opportunity to make sure that you get all your digital things together before the summer break starts. We have her book, so make sure you come in before the 19th, buy it and receive a coupon for the 25th.

The Luxe Designs Cocktail Dress line is awesome. It’s a definite must have. Come on in and grab some while the grabbing is good. It’s going fast and I just put it out yesterday. Well I’ve given out all the secrets. I just couldn’t help it. The paper was here, the movies are coming out and I just had to tell it. That’s ok, I know you’ll forgive me this time. Hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day and a great weekend. Whew, it was a very busy week and we were pretty glad to get Sunday off. Let me update you one what is going on here.

First, we received some great things from EK Success. We have Jolees in all the new drink lines. Now, I have a photo printer at home that rivals the big boys so believe me, when I put my picture next to the pictures from the machine, you couldn’t tell the difference, I was definitely impressed. Hey guys wanted to let you know that we have the new tapewriter from Around the Block. It is really a good basic tool to have. The colors of the tapes are fantastic. The green, blue, and yes the pink!!!It also has metallic and scalloped tape. Look at all the choices now. Just made journaling a lot more fun huh!

If you read Scrapbooks Etc., Angelina Wiggington did a layout using the Paper Tagger from Around the Block. It was awesome. New ways to attach tags, transparencies and much more. It adds so much more dimension to your page. We have the tagger and all the colors of the tags. The tagger has a real cute kit that has tags and labels. A definite must see.

Hope everyone had a wonderful NSD! We did! It really turned out to be a great day. We scrapped for the whole 13 hours (ok they scrapped, I talked), played games and enjoyed wonderful mexican food. Next year guys, you definitely will have to join us.
